Football Edge – The Machine
About Football Edge
We have started to review a best tipsters service called Football Edge. They supply around seven selections a week which are mainly match odds and handicap bets, both Asian and European (3 way).
The magic behind this service is an algorithm they have built which draws on ten years’ worth of data. Their system is different from others on the market in that it is aiming to predict not only the outcome of a match but more importantly, when a bet has value i.e. where the algorithm believes the market has got the price wrong. Their customers then apply the Kelly Criterion to calculate their stakes using the calculator provided. All this is explained in detail on the site. When they publish their bets, they even give you the advised stakes so if the odds haven’t changed when you go to place your bets, you won’t have to calculate them yourself.
Their target ROI is 8% a month and for the last three seasons, the system has returned around 95% per annum on average. Their results are totally transparent and are verified with Betfair screenshots of their own account. They will also appear on theDailyTipster once we have fully reviewed their service.
What Football Edge says
Our aim is to make 2% a week ROI which we’ve pretty much achieved for the last three seasons. This year (as of 31/10), we’ve returned 30% since the middle of July so we are on target for another 90%+ year (based on a 10% liability). Naturally, if you were to trade at 20%, the ROI would be doubled.
We trade to a Kelly Criterion liability of 10% and in three and half years, our bank has never been tested to any significant degree. Therefore, many of our customers set their stakes to a 20% liability without any issue.
We say to customers that they should only need to deposit 50% of their bank with the bookies. You can get away with depositing as little as 20%. Our selections are often for matches which are taking place simultaneously, so your deposit is purely to cover your bets. It is however important to have access to further funds if we were to hit a bad losing streak but as you can see from our results, that is unlikely.
We don’t claim to be the most exciting gambling service. Football Edge is more of a machine. You place your bets, forget about them and hopefully you’ll see a decent return when you check back in on a Monday.
We take our business seriously and are totally transparent with our results whether good or bad and we believe that we offer a service which is a cut above the rest.

First impressions of Football Edge
A ROI is 8% a month is what my Top 10 tipsters earn a month as a minimum so that’s a good start.
The site is easy to navigate and you get emails or text alerts when selections are uploaded to the members area on the site. Selections are mainly for weekend fixtures but some midweek bets appear as well.
You have plenty of time to put the bets on as they arrive by midday Friday.
The price point is reflective of the constant results since 2019 of 95% per year and they offer discounts if you join for 3 months/6 months or yearly.
Most bets are Match odds or Asian handicap and they give a “Win Probability” percentage and advise of stakes also if the odds dips below a certain point then it’s a “No Bet”
As with all tipsters we will be monitoring the bets before they are placed to see if the odds are there and will update monthly the results
Betting Bank
Their staking plan is based on a £5k betting bank with a fractional betting percentage of 10% but most customer choose 20% as the betting bank has never been tested to any significant degree, however, you can of course start trading our program with far less.
Has Football Edge ever taken the bank into the ‘red’?
This is a question often put to us. The answer is yes but thankfully it is very rare and the most it has been is -£350.60 in July 2021. This was followed by a profit of £2,287.67 in August.
